Teaching is a process through which students learn to question assumptions, engage evidence critically, and develop their own ways of thinking about complex problems. My goal as an educator is to prepare thoughtful scholars, practitioners, and future leaders who can evaluate evidence, engage perspectives different from their own, and use knowledge to make informed decisions in research, policy, and practice. My teaching centers on three core pillars: (1) bridging theory and practice through project-based and community-engaged learning; (2) cultivating critical reflexivity about educational knowledge and evidence; and (3) creating inclusive learning environments that support perspective-taking, independent reasoning, and meaningful engagement across differences.
